This is the first 'George Clooney' Directed movie for me. This movie was really great. Don't know much about politics? That's okay! You can still enjoy the movie. A couple of surprise actor/actress in the movie that I didn't realize was in the movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Marisa Tomei!! I did NOT know she was in it! She's such a great actress, it would be nice to see her in more films. Ryan Gosling was great as usual in this movie. He's really good at being a really hot, calm pissed off guy. (see DRIVE)
George Clooney has a pretty small role, important but small and that's now understandable since he's also the director. I'm not much of a Clooney fan but his role in this film was...handsome.
Watch it!! It will be enjoyed by many.

good movie, except it was based on politics and i don't understand/follow politics too well. but ryan gosling and evan rachel wood made it for me.

I didn't understand the whole..politics thing either. But it was kind of like Drive, no drama in the beginning and all of a sudden, a sh*t load of drama! Very good indeed.
