Hobo With A Shotgun.
The movie Hobo with a Shotgun is exactly that....a Hobo who hopped on a train to find a better place to live, ends up in a shitty, violent, run down town witnessing the Ultra-Violence happening right in front of his eyes. He's so sick of it, finds himself in a situation with a shotgun, and starts blasting away.
A fun, gruesome blood filled movie! You feel for the old guy and cheer him on! Those kids in that town are just brutal.. This movie reminds of something Quentin Tarantino might do for fun, or Robert Rodriguez.
I highly recommend seeing this movie, but make sure you're prepared to see some gore and violence. And please, keep this movie away from kids.

Daydream Nation.
Daydream Nation:
I'm a sucker for High School movies..especially ones involving a teacher/student relationship. Cheesy, I know. It's not like the other High School movies though, all cutesy. The main reason I started watching this was because of Kat Dennings. Something about her makes me want to watch her. Most likely, it's the lips and those amazing colors she can put on them. I love her acting style. This movie has a touch of the darker side of High School life in a small town. If you ever feel like watching a 'teen drama' movie, pick Daydream Nation, at least do it for Kat Dennings. She's pretty exquisite.

Food Inc.
I finally had enough courage to watch Food, Inc. Food is definitely one of those things that scares me. I happen to love and enjoy food very much but at the same time, I go through phases of being terrified of where they came from and what it takes to get them from animal, to butcher warehouse, packaged into the store, into the kitchens, and In. My. Belly.
I have tried so many times to either do the vegetarian thing, or go organic. Sad thing is going organic is expensive, and reading every single label for every single thing you buy is pretty much impossible!
Meat scares the shit out of me, but unfortunately, being blood type O...I love meat!
In the end...it all boils down to..McDonalds. Yup. Every since the beginning, they have ruined food for us. One thing that I did cut out of my life is fast food. I can definitely live without it. The American Food Industry is a very very scary thing. Food Inc. shows just how evil they are. The farmers are doing whatever they can to survive and they just can't seem to win. It is a disturbing film depicting the importance of Money>Life.
Maybe if more of these movies are exposed, we can all together and change the way we eat. I highly doubt that would ever happen, until we are all dying of obesity and becoming extinct. *sigh* such is life. It's not just about the human beings, we are killing animals for our benefit. So that we can survive. Let's appreciate where our food comes from and not take it for granted.
I myself, am going to do my best to eat better. More vegetables, less....shit. If I choose to eat meat, it shall all be organic. (same with the veggies do..imagine all of the chemicals they use on EVERYTHING.) Farmers Markets are amazing so be sure to check one out! And please, watch this movie, soak in some information and take care of yourself.

The Day The Earth Stood Still. (2008)
Say wha? Now why would I watch this movie? Because I adore Keanu Reeves. And I'm sort of a sucker for 'end of the world' type flicks. No matter how cheesy they may be. One thing though...I have NOT seen the original from 1951 so I don't know how true fans of this movie would enjoy it.
It was a good movie, I wouldn't so great or excellent but entertaining for sure. I believe the last movie I saw with Jennifer Connelly was Blood Diamond (Excellent movie), it was nice seeing her again. She's such a beautiful talented actress. I think Keanu Reeves was good for this role due to his robotic acting (like in The Matrix). He was emotionless throughout the entire movie. Not a single smile, no wrinkles from anger or frustration. His face did not move. At all. This movie sends a pretty good message, I'm not sure if it was the same as the original but I feel there could have been more to it. It seemed to have started and ended rather quickly, kind of leaving a...'That's it?' feeling. If you have absolutely nothing to do and have some extra time seeing the movie, then you can watch this. It's still pretty to see.
I do however, look forward to seeing Keanu Reeves in a role that will stray from being emotionless or robotic. He's a great guy, and he does great things.

Chasing Amy.
I like Kevin Smith. I haven't seen all of his movies, but I have seen enough to know that I enjoy his films.
Mallrats, Clerks, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II. Chasing Amy was one I've always wanted to watch but just never got to watching. So finally a couple of weeks ago I watched it.
Very good movie! A little bit annoying because of the type of character that Ben Afleck plays. He's kind of...obsessive. An the whole time, I was wondering, WHY is this called Chasing Amy? The female characters name is Alyssa so....isn't he Chasing Alyssa?? I then finally, Silent Bob opens his mouth in one of those rare moments, and explains his story, about Chasing Amy.
I liked the film a lot and I will definitely be adding it to my collection :)

The Dark Knight Rises.
By far, the most anticipated movie of the year, The Dark Knight Rises.
I wasn't able to catch the movie on opening weekend OR at the IMAX like I had promised myself that I would, but at last, I was able to see the movie. And MY GAWD I don't know why I waited so long to watch it.
In my personal opinion, The Dark Knight is still the best out of the three but that didn't stop me from loving TDKR. It is definitely a must see movie that keeps you on your toes. The movie is about two hours and forty minutes long? I could have sat there longer and watched more! It didn't' feel like a grueling almost three hour movie. To know that this is Nolan's last Batman series film is sad but he ended it on a great note.
The first appearance of Bane sent shivers through my body. Hearing is voice for the first time? Even better. A lot of people don't seem to appreciate the style of his voice that was used but I thought it was perfect. The mask looked brilliant on him as well.
And kudos to Anne Hathaway for portraying Catwoman wonderfully! I admit I was a little worried about her role in the movie, but she was great! I would say, the second best Catwoman ever protrayed.
Now that the trilogy is complete, I have to wonder what is in stores for Christopher Nolan. All of his films before the Batman Trilogy are all brilliant and I would love to see another one of his original stories, and/or collaborating again with his brother Jonathan Nolan. (Memento)
Go see TDKR. And if you haven't seen Batman Begins, or The Dark Knight, what are you waiting for? It won't be a waste of time.

Iron Man 2.
Iron Man 2. This is another movie I watched right before seeing The Avengers so that I can get a better feel of the movie. Iron Man 1 was great and I saw it as soon as it was released! I waited a while to see Iron Man 2 though. It wasn't grabbing my attention too much! It was a good movie though. Fun action and the usually witty comments by Tony Stark and the odd placement of Gwenyth Paltrow as Pepper Potts. It was nice seeing Black Widow in the movie but her role was extremely minor. They could have used some more of her for sure! I love the fact that Don Cheadle was in it and that War Machine finally made it's appearance! Hopefully he'll be involved in more Iron Man movies! There isn't too much to say about this movie..it's great! Pretty much like all superhero movies are :)

The Fall.
This movie is another one of Erika's Favorites. I absolutely love this film. I was very hesitant to see this movie at first mainly because I had NO idea what it was about but I am so glad I did. I instantly fell in love with it and have seen it numerous times since. This film is directed by Tarsem Singh and if you don't know him, he is very well known for the visual aspects of his movie. For instance, The Cell. Wonderfully creepy movie but visually spectacular! His colors POP. One of things I love about this movie, is that Tarsem Singh financed the majority of this film with his own money. That just tells you he wanted to really make this film for himself and make it HIS way. He spent four years, traveling to 20 countries capturing beautiful images. The story of the movie is cute too, and really heartwarming. This is one of those gems in my collection. I will always love this movie! I've only ever seen Lee Pace in the TV series Pushing Daisies and he was so incredible in this movie!

Drive.
How have I NOT done a Drive review yet? HUH????!!? That's just crazy talk. This is by far, my favorite movie since 2011. And it might stay that way for a very very long time. I went into the theater expecting a full on adrenaline rush of a movie with crazy car chases. When I left the theater, I had no words. It was SO not what I expected, but in a very good way. I would have been sick of yet another car chase movie and this was anything but. People either love or hate this movie and I happen to fall into the LOVE column. This is a pretty slow paced movie so those of you that don't have patience, you might not enjoy it. But the slowness is worth the wait. Ryan Gosling's character is incredible he's a romantic quiet man who bursts out with darkness. And you know what else? The Soundtrack. I think this movie has THE best soundtrack of any movie I have ever seen. I'm practically obsessed with this movie and even proceeded to purchase two of the soundtrack vinyls just because they art work was different on both.
This is a must see movie. You will be on the edge of your seat. Go watch it! And this director, I haven't seen any of his previous films but from now on, I will be watching all of them. He is now on my list of directors to watch out for. I watched about 15 minutes of Valhalla Rising, and it looks incredible. Await my review of that movie!

Thor.
I will admit, when I first saw previews to this movie, I was like MEH. Don't want to see it at all. Looks DUMB. And so I never watched it. Plus...I didn't really know what Thor was all about. So came the time that Avenger was being released and I thought to myself, hmmm...perhaps I should watch all of the characters individual movies. And so it begun! The quest to watch Thor, Captain America, Iron Man 2 and Hulk. (I never got to Hulk...)
So I watched Thor. And then I watched it again, and then I watched it one more time. And I'm pretty sure I watched it a fourth time.
Yup.
It was THAT entertaining to me. I really liked it! I've never seen Chris Hemsworth in anything else and he was great in this movie! And I enjoyed the comedic factor. The one think I didn't understand was why Natalie Portman was in it...They could have used someone else for sure. She didn't play a big part at all and she's not even in The Avengers. Just a picture of her. Is she even going to be in Thor 2? She was probably super expensive to get for the movie too..Anyways, other then that, the movie is AWESOME! And it really did help watching that movie first before seeing Avengers. Thors brother Loki/Tome Hiddleston was great too. This was the first time that I have seen him act and he had the perfect cold aura about him.
At first, both Liam Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth (Brothers) auditioned for the role of Thor and I am SO glad Chris Hemsworth got it. I'm pretty sure Liam wouldn't have been able to play it well. Plus...he bulked up like CRAZY and he's pretty delicious looking. :D

Limitless.
WOWZA. It's about time I start back up on my movie blog. I have been incredibly busy and have neglected movie watching time but I hope to change that because hell...I love movies!
Okay these reviews might be a little bit fuzzy since it's been a while since I have seen them but here goes!
Bradley Cooper in Limitless. I wasn't TOO keen on seeing this movie seeing as Bradley Cooper has been incredibly over-rated ever since Hangover came out, but I can't blame him right? That's beside the point though, this movie was pretty good. I wouldn't say that I loved it, but I would suggest you watch it if you have some free time and want to watch an adrenaline rushed movie.
**This part may be some spoiler alerts, but I'm just trying to explain what the movie is about.**
It's mainly about a man who has his rock bottom, he's a writer and is suffering through writer's block and suffering in his relationship as well. I'm sure through the previews, you know that he takes a substance, and everything changes. The concept of that substance is a pretty neat one. Unlocking the usage of the other parts of your brain? The things that can happen!

Ruh Roh...
So the parents came home with an ultra Japanese weight scale...and Ivy and I tried it yesterday.
O_O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Erika has gained WAY too much weight! This is the most I have ever weighed so starting today, I am going to attempt to lose some of that jiggly poof. My goal weight has always been 110..but now that i'm way...WAY over my goal...perhaps I should start slow and say..120 is my goal.
I am going to keep a fitness journal and record all foods I eat, and all exercises I part take in!
I'm thinking that my restaurant job can count as exercise since i'm constantly walking and moving around. I will just put it down as walking :)
SO! Here we go!! I was wearing a lot of clothes on the parents scale yesterday, so I went home and weighed myself again.
130 is my official weight. Let's see what I can do to get that down!!

Young Adult.

Yesterday I received Young Adult from Netflix and watched it last night!
(Ivy! I'm doing better at watching movies right away and then returning it!)
Jason Reitman, famous for his Juno movie teams up with Diablo Cody again in this movie that pretty much seems made for Charlize Theron.
I haven't seen Charlize Theron in a movie in a very long time but I think this role was made for her. About a beautiful girl, who was popular in High School, and still thinks she can get whatever she wants and treat people however the way she wants to.
I wouldn't say I loved this movie, but it was fun to watch. It is a very slow movie. I'm sure everyone in their childhood dealt with one of those 'popular' girls during their time in High School. Pretty much makes you want to gag for some reason.
I think my favorite character in this movie however, was Matt, played by Patton Oswalt. He was a genuine character. I did like how she was writing a book that relates to her life and she would use statements that she heard from girls in stores, and use it in her book.
I think they could have added...a little something. I'm not quite sure what it was lacking, but it's not one of those movies that will be memorable. With that said, I still think you should watch it, and I still enjoyed it very much.

50/50.

A cancer...comedy?! Sounds kind of odd and unnatural right? It's more like a dark comedy based on a true story.
Joseph Gordon Levitt and Seth Rogen together had a really great chemistry. Having a goofy friend like Seth Rogen's character during hard times, is probably medicine for a lot of people.
It is a very heart warming movie. Throughout the movie you just wait and wait for Andrew to show his true emotions on how he feels about what has happened to him.
Once he does let those emotions out, you can just feel it. You get a feeling of..'FINALLY'. Finally, he's come to grips.
The end of the movie would make anybody smile. Especially because they play the song Yellow Ledbetter at the end :D kee hee hee.

Ides of March.

This is the first 'George Clooney' Directed movie for me. This movie was really great. Don't know much about politics? That's okay! You can still enjoy the movie. A couple of surprise actor/actress in the movie that I didn't realize was in the movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Marisa Tomei!! I did NOT know she was in it! She's such a great actress, it would be nice to see her in more films. Ryan Gosling was great as usual in this movie. He's really good at being a really hot, calm pissed off guy. (see DRIVE)
George Clooney has a pretty small role, important but small and that's now understandable since he's also the director. I'm not much of a Clooney fan but his role in this film was...handsome.
Watch it!! It will be enjoyed by many.

Purr...

So Friday night, I went to my all time favorite trusty bar Hooverville :) Went with a couple of co-workers, then my friend joined in later and I hung out with Trevor and Sean (from the bar) the rest of the night. It was a blast and a half. Hoover makes me feel super welcome! Then my buddy Fatch and I were like..hmm...it's only 10..let's go to a gay bar!! So I was like WOOT! I know of one I've always wanted to go to! And off we went to Broadway...
After a while of finding a parking spot (found a pretty legit spot too btw.!) we were on our way to...Purr~

Now, on our way to Purr, we were pretty hungry so we decided to get a hot dog! It was cash only and I had no cash when all of a sudden, a super cute obviously gay guy came up to and said..."Can I buy you your wiener?" Ummmm...YES please!! Hahaha he was so nice! Randomly, for no reason at all, since he wasn't getting one but his boyfriend was, he wanted to my the wiener for me! And he phrased it just like that too, I was quite ecstatic. His name was Joshua, not Josh, but Joshua. I think that totally made my night! We talked for a while, they were going to a different gay bar called R-Place. (which we almost went to but I only knew where Purr was).
We said our lovely farewells, said we would see each other soon when of course, we will most likely never see them again. Ah~ Lovely times!
So off we went to Purr with our wieners in our hand! We entered, it was dark but nice and pretty. You know, I gotta say, it was like a regular club/bar except with a lot of men. I would go again! I do have to say though, as a female, it was definitely a little harder to get drinks! I thought that was only in movies but no, it's true!!
The music! Oh the music there was fantasmo! Robyn was playing, Toni Braxton was playing and the best one? N'Sync POP! Dirty Pop? Can't remember what it was called but it was great hearing that song and watching everyone dance :D
After one VERY STRONG drink that I couldn't finish, we decided to go meet up with some new friends that I had recently met the night before at...:

Julia's on Broadway! (I wish I had my camera that night man...could have taking some amazing pictures with new people!)
Anyways, I met a few of these guys on Thursday night at Kate's Pub, I was getting ready to go home and they were all playing pool when they started talking to me. So I decided to chill out and stay! Played a couple of games of pool and closed down the bar man. It was great times. It's been a while since I've had a REALLY good time out and about. So anyways, I met up with them at Julia's on Broadway because the whole lot works there. And then went to some house where they all gathered and smoked some hookah. By this time though..it was getting really late so I peaced out around 4!
All in all, Seattle treated me very well that night. Thank you Seattle and the wonderful people that live here! :D

Dream House.

My second movie to arrive from Netflix is Dream House. I just finished watching it and I didn't really think I would like it but it was decently good!! Quite a few twists and turns in the movie. The first big twist was pretty obvious and you see it coming but I think they meant to make it that way. Over all, I enjoyed it as much as I could on a quiet Wednesday night. I'm not much of a Daniel Craig fan, but I've only really seen him in two movies. It was nice seeing him as a family man in this movie. I was expecting this to be a horror movie at first but it was nothing like that at all.

I've been watching quite a lot of movies on Netflix stream. I wasn't going to really do reviews on them but I think i'll do little mini reviews for each! Not as detailed as my DVD reviews though :D
(my rating system isn't really that legit...so you'll probably see A LOT of 4 hearts because I really really like a lot of movies! Even if they are really cheesy.)

Beetlejuice:
Classic movie from the 80's. Watching this again, at this age and perspective, Michael Keaton is AWESOME. This is some epic acting from him. Can you believe he's one of the best Batman performers ever?! Alec Baldwin looks SUPER young and handsome in this film too!
♥♥♥

Office Space:
HAHAHA Office Space is a great movie! If you haven't seen this, you must watch it! Everyone, and I mean i'm pretty sure everyone can relate to what these guys go through! I definitely do. I've always wanted to re-enact one of the most epic scenes of this movie. It's the part where they grab a printer and drive out into a remote field with gangster music playing and proceed to beat the SHIT out of it. Oh how I have always wanted to do that..and Milton..poor poor Milton. I've been in his situation too where my desk gets moved over and over and over again! Kudos to him for burning the place down! Ron Livingston has such a monotone way of acting. It's perfect for this role, and this is definitely one of my favorite Janniston flicks!
♥♥♥♥

Heathers:
Que Sera Sera~ starts this wonderful 80's movie..This is definitely a dark/comedy/classic/cult film!
The one liners in this movie are the most ridiculous things you'll ever here randomly placed in movies. "Fuck me gently with a chainsaw" "What is your damage Heather?" "Corn-nuts!" (last words from a dying Heather) "I love my dead gay son!" "Lick it up baby, Lick. It. Up."
I mean really?! It's a pretty great movie, and by the way..Christian Slater looks HAWT in this movie! Like...really really good. I always have a crush on him when I watch this movie. :D
♥♥♥♥

Hackers:
Oh HACKERS! This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I know I know..it's a cheesy nineties movie but I love it!
The beginning of the movie starts off in Seattle so already, it's a great movie. And the music..oh the music! The very very beginning starts off with Orbital's Halcyon and On and On. This is when I first fell in love with the song. Moving on, ♥Eddie Vedder♥ is mentioned in this film! :D The clothing they all where, the rollerblades, the not so real hacking techniques...this movie made me WANT to be a hacker even though they pretty much depicted it falsely. The cast is amazing, young spunky Angelina Jolie, Jonny Lee Miller, Matthew Lillard! With names like Serial Killer, Lord Nikon, Zero Cool? It can't get any better. Soundtrack is filled with great songs.
♥♥♥♥♥

No Strings Attached:
Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher...'nuff said?
Typical romantic comedy, two people doing the whole friends with benefits thing, one person ALWAYS gets attached, the other person can't handle it, the other person misses the friend, and in the end gets attached as well, and they live happily ever after! That pretty much sums it up..it was an okay movie. Something mindless to watch when you're bored. One of those cutsey chick flicks!
♥♥½ Don't hate it, but don't particularly cared for it either!

Bunraku:
Don't really know how I came across this movie, I saw a preview of it a while ago and it immediately spiked my interest just because of the way it looks and the fact that Gackt is in it HAHAHA! I can't miss an American Film that has Gackt in it!
This movie was AWESOME!! It had a weird cartoonish feel to it and some great fighting scenes. Josh Hartnett, Woody Harrelson and Gackt were the three main characters. I don't know..people may be too hesitant to watch it but I suggest you do! It's entertaining at best. It was visually very pleasing. I would watch this movie again and again :)
♥♥♥

Morning Glory:
I was in the mood to watch something stupid, so I decided to watch Morning Glory. Rachel McAdams, Harrison Frakkin' Ford? and Diane Keaton. Diane Keaton has usually done a lot of these weird..girly movies so that's not surprising but Harrison Ford?
It was awkward! It was a cute movie but Rachel McAdams character was extremely extremely annoying. If you have the opportunity to watch this movie, don't. It's really now worth your time. The only good thing about this movie was Patrick Wilson well yanno, cause he's cute! :D
♥♥

Take Me Home Tonight:
This movie takes place in the late eighties. OMG what was pretty interesting to see was Suncoast! Do you remember Suncoast the move store? I don't even think they're around anymore..Topher Grace's character graduated from college (super smart guy) but works at a dead-end job at Suncoast. Re-unites with the girl of his high school dreams, who by the way, look just like Kristen Stewart, but can actually act! *gasp*.
He'll pretty much do anything to get in this girls pants. It was actually a pretty funny and enjoyable movie. Pleasantly entertaining to watch.
♥♥♥

Hot Tub Time Machine:
I really did't want to watch this movie..but I heard a couple of good things about it, and frankly, I was bored and there was nothing else to watch so I watched it! Actually decently good! Not too overly stupid and a good amount of humor in it! The fact that Darrel from The Office is in it was pretty awesome too. I've only seen him as Darrel. John Cusack is generally kind of a dork but I love him! And he was charming in this movie as well. I wouldn't mind recommending this to people if they have a couple of hours they can spare just to chill and watch a movie. The title pretty much says it all, it's literally a Hot Tub Time Machine and they go back into the 80's I believe and they have to try and not to mess with the time continuum.
♥♥♥

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil:
I wanted to watch this movie because it genuinely looked pretty funny! Red Necks being proceeded as vicious killers! When in fact, the kids are all just killing themselves! (not a spoiler, in the trailer). Anyways, it wasn't a bad movie, but all of the funny parts were depicted in the trailer..I think they pretty much showed almost all of the killings in the trailer. So this is one of those movies that would have been better if you hadn't watched a preview.
♥♥½

Skyline:
Alien Invasion movie!! I love these movies!!
I love them even more when they have an actual story/plot to the movie! Which this one didn't have. It was just visually awesome to watch. It could have been great if they delved into the alien story some more. Like..Did the satellites see this coming? Big machines can't just no appear on the radar..The concept of the movie was really great but it just needed a backstory. And the ending leaves you hanging. It's like..why are the aliens doing this? Why do they need to feed?
Mreh. It was good, but not great! Definitely had potential though!
♥♥½

Ceremony:
The main reason why I wanted to watch this is because I love Lee Pace. But he wasn't really the main character in this film. Umm..I don't really have a lot to say about this movie..it was kind of just..'on' to watch. It had a slight Indie feel to the film and I really enjoyed certain characters from this movie but it didn't really spark anything in me. A women is having trouble choosing between two men. The way she perceives things is really 'shelfish' in my eyes. I say it was an o.k. movie.

The Piano Teacher:
I don't watch foreign movies too often, but I like to do it when I do!
The Piano Teacher is something I haven't wanted to watch for a loooong time. I get intrigued by the weirdest movies..
This was a disturbing, haunting, different film. A lot of it is revolved around loneliness and acceptance. This Piano Teacher is so uptight, I don't think she realizes how to portray her self when prompted with feelings of love. She does things you would never expect someone like her to do, and it's surprising. She inflicts pain on herself, and believes the only way she can be with someone, is if she's being abused/tortured. She lives with an extremely controlling mother who i'm assuming she had to deal with her whole entire life. Hence her being so closed off and uptight. Isabelle Huppert's performance was pretty brilliant. To have to endure those feelings and act the was the professor was acting takes a lot out of someone.
The actor Benoit Magimel was also splendid in this movie. Any actor who can stand playing such an uncomfortable role is dedicated. It is a somewhat disturbing movie, so if you can't handle anything disturbing, I suggest you know what it. I thought it was a great film. So much emotion moving through the Professor.
♥♥♥♥

Take Shelter

My first Netflix delivered movie is called Take Shelter.
I first saw this preview long ago and it peaked my interest. Mainly because Michael Shannon fascinates me. He's got such a peculiar face and he has been popping up on my radar off and on for a while now. Another interest I have with this movie is that it's a psychological thriller. Any movie that's psychologically totally peaks my interest!
Title: Take Shelter
Director: Jeff Nichols
Starring: Michael Shannon, Jessica Chastain
Tomatometer: 92%
Okay! Just finished watching it. Great movie! It has the perfect amount of suspense in it that kind of makes you feel nervous. It's a very quiet movie with not too much dialogue, but it's got a pretty great dramatic effect. The ending of the film was perfect. Michael Shannon is definitely on my radar to keep watching. He did a great job in this film. The music throughout the movie was very pretty as well. It had a very eerie effect throughout.
Erika's Rating:(out of five)

Flix!
Netflix!!

Yes, I have finally purchased monthly service from Netflix! I'm super excited! I really have no idea why I waited so long to use Netflix..but it is so worth it!
It's especially perfect for someone who has no cable whatsoever.
I can stream TV shows! And the movie selections..oi the movie selections!
I decided to go with streaming, and 2 dvd's a month! If you think about it, it's much cheaper then signing up with Comcast or DirectTV and whatnot because it's unlimited!! WOOT!
My first movie that was mailed to me is Take Shelter. I got it yesterday but ended up not watching it so i'm going to watch it tonight! Hmm...maybe i'll do movie reviews on here since I can watch TONS of movies now! :D
Right now, I have been obsessed with watching 'Say Yes to the Dress'! And since i'm watching that show non-stop..I keep asking Ivy questions about her ceremony! I want it to happen so bad super soon! I already told her to not be stressed out about it because I will be handling a lot of the stuff for her! And we have a small family so it should go nice and smoothly :)
But we've been checking out some wedding dresses :D I'm excited!

If I keep holding out
Will the light shine through
Under this broken roof
Its only rain that I feel
Ive been wishing out the days
Ohh ohh oh come back
I have been planning out
All that I'd say to you
Since you slipped away
Know that I still remain true
Ive been wishing out the days
Please say that if you hadnt gone now
I wouldnt have lost you another way
From wherever you are
Ohhhh ohh ohh oh oh come back
And these days they linger on
And in the night ive been waiting for
The real possibility that I may meet you in my dreams
I go to sleep
If i dont fall apart, Will my memory stay clear
So you had to go, And I had to remain here
But the strangest thing today
So far away and yet you feel so close
And Im not gonna question any other way
There must be an open door
For you uhh uhh uhh.... To come back
And the days they linger on
And every night when Im waiting for
The real possibility that I may meet you in my dreams
Sometimes you're there and you're talking back to me
Come the morning I can swear that you're next to me
And its okayyyyyy
Its ok...its ok
Ohhh i need you....come back, come back
Ahhhhh I need you come back, come back
Ohhhh I need you come back, come back
Whoooo whooo whooo whoo

Snow Storm 1.18.2012
Snow has arrived!! It's supposed to snow A LOT today! Like 4-10 inches or something crazy like that!
I drove in to work today and I must say, I'm a little scared to drive home!
It snowed all night, and when I went to my car this morning there was already a couple inches of SUPER soft fluffy snow on my car. And it hasn't stopped snowing since!
It's still coming down a lot here in Seattle...I hope I can make it home alright! Otherwise I think i'll camp out here at work. I have food, I have blankets, I have a heater and a computer! :)
Happy Snow Day everyone! Be safe out there!

This is kind of late but....
Happy New Years!!
So for New Years this year, I decided to hang out with Mari! So Mari, Jay, Justin and her friend Ian, another Ian, and some other girl all met up at Cafe Mox to play some board games while drinking. Yeah...that's pretty snazzy. And after that we went to another bar in Ballard and rang in the New Year! It was a pretty fun night all in all.
I don't have any pictures because I can't find my battery charger for my camera...so I didn't take any pictures :( I guess i'll have to keep that in my memory bank!

We Bought a Zoo...
I just went and saw the movie "We Bought a Zoo". It is a film directed by Cameron Crowe, it was one of my most anticipated movies of 2011 and I finally went and saw it! It was a lot better then I expected it to be. I knew it would be good, but I think it exceeded me expectations. (I pretty much said that same thing in the previous statement huh...) Cameron Crowe did a great job getting Jonsi to do the soundtrack. Jonsi himself deserves his own post! His voice..is like one of the instruments, so pretty. AND!! One of the characters name is McCready! Like...Ummm...Mike McCready from Pearl Jam!! And they played the song Hunger Strike in the movie which is sung by Chris Cornell and uh....Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam! WooT! Right on Mr. Crowe! Anywho, it was a very cute, sweet, heart warming must see movie :)
Scarjo caught me off guard a little bit, but Matt Damon was great. And I love seeing Elle Fanning in more and more movies! Anyways, go see it! If not in theaters, then come to me in a few months and I will have the DVD ;)
